#6 Release Leaders to Lead

Release Leaders to Lead
The Louisiana district leadership allowed men who were elected to office to do their job without interference; as long as procedures, established by the district, were followed. There was accountability on several levels but you were allowed to lead without intrusion as long you were effective and accountable to those above you.
Some Sunday school directors of a few districts stated to me that they had no authority and no involvement in regards to the handling of money or helping with the decisions that involved their department. They felt that their ingenuity and creativity was stifled. They were simply instructed as to what the district board wanted them to do.
When a leader is trusted to lead and he is given the freedom to exercise his own judgement and instincts, he is more likely to be
conscientious about the decisions he makes.
